Browning Smith
DACM, LAc

Dr. Browning Smith was born and raised in Russellville, Kentucky. After earning his degree in Biology from Transylvania University, he pursued advanced training in acupuncture and Chinese medicine at Daoist Traditions in Asheville, North Carolina, where he received his doctorate.

During his studies, Dr. Smith trained directly under renowned practitioners Jeffery Yuen, Evan Rabinowitz, and Randine Lewis. He emphasizes a classical approach to Chinese medicine and often employs methods from the Fire Spirit School of Chinese Herbal Medicine. While honoring the historical roots of this ancient practice, Dr. Smith maintains a flexible, modern approach tailored to today's health challenges.

He utilizes five channel systems in his acupuncture practice and is experienced in creating custom herbal formulas for individualized care.
